We are providers of a high quality, flexible and responsive service, utilising the latest generation of borescope equipment. All inspections are carried out by our team of 10 full time inspectors, who have extensive engine expertise and years of aviation experience within airlines, engine OEMs and overhaul facilities.

Services

Borescope Inspection

APMS Aviation utilises the latest generation of video borescope equipment from both GE (Waygate) and Olympus (Evident). All of the borescope units have the advantage of being highly portable and battery powered, which gives much greater flexibility when performing inspections airside, where electrical power is not always readily available. All units are capable of performing digital measurement functions.

By utilising the latest Rhinestahl and Olympus engine turning equipment, our inspectors are able to work independently on most engine types without compromising quality, generating cost saving benefits for the client.

Our borescope services are heavily in demand for engines commencing or completing a lease period, pre purchase inspections, unscheduled inspections and for routine maintenance inspection. Following completion of inspections, borescope reports are sent electronically, with video files provided on USB cards or via file transfer.

Borescope Witness and Remote VBSI Review

We recognise that not all borescope inspections will be performed by the APMS team.

Given the trust APMS have earned from our customers over the years, our team’s expertise and experience are often called upon to witness borescope inspections performed by other companies on site and verify findings.

We can also offer to review video borescope files remotely and provide comments and a report on the files provided.
